My name is Elaine Smid and I work as a volcanologist at The University of Auckland in Auckland, New Zealand, also known as The City of Volcanoes. I manage the DEtermining Volcanic Risk in Auckland (DEVORA) research programme and also conduct research on the Auckland Volcanic Field within my PhD.
