Blog Information
The blog name is taken from Ernie Searle’s 1964 book of the same title. The header image was taken by Elaine from Rangitoto Volcano in June 2012. In the distance, Auckland’s Sky Tower and the Central Business District can be seen through the gap between Maungauika / North Head (left) and Takarunga / Mt Victoria (right) volcanoes on the Devonport peninsula in Auckland.
